On a Sunday evening do you ever glance at your calendar for the week and start to feel jittery and breathless upon comprehending everything that lies ahead? That is me tonight. In my little corner of the world there is nothing about this upcoming week that is simple. The spring break bubble has most definitely burst.
In other news, I finished knitting my second baby beanie hat this weekend. Like the first one, it took me an entire month to complete it, but the end result makes me happy. I am officially tired of variegated pastel yarn... time for something with a punch of color and a bit of whimsy, but not until next weekend at the earliest.
It will be an early morning for me so,
Good night to the old lady whispering hush...

Those baby hats are gorgeous. You have become fantastic at knitting.
And, even without a spring break, I know the feeling of being completely overwhelmed by the to-do list of the upcoming week. This next week is going to be a doozy.
Congratulations on another beautiful creation! Your knitting looks lovely. And best wishes for your over crowded calendar. I hope the week goes more smoothly than expected.
yes I know! May God give you strength for each new task and a cheerful and willing heart. Kelly
You did a perfect job on that hat! I love the thick rings around it. Next one needs to be a combination or red and orange, right? That would look great on any baby! :)
I feel that on an hourly basis some days! I used to have an irregular heartbeat right after baby #4 was born - after being on a heart monitor it became clear that it was stress..... yeah, I 've been there :)
Someday I'll graduate to hats! Thanks for sharing your end result to inspire us all.
Ah yes, the story of my life, especially after spending all of break putting off the midterm, research paper, performance review, amongst other things, that are due this week - aaaauuuugggghhhh!!
J ;)
So very sweet. I love those hats.
