"What is it," you wonder. That's pollen, ya'll... floating and swirling in a rainwater puddle.
This week the Deep South has been besieged with our annual yellow-green, powdery haze. It's no wonder the Boo and I have been prone to recent sneezing fits.
Blessed mercy, we had rain today... the air is a little clearer, the world is a little less yellow, and we've had a few less sneezes.

Neat-o! What an intriguing photo.
Makes me feel as if I'm at an art show with a snappy scarf, a glass of red wine, and maybe even the obligatory beret. Hmm. Yes. Make that a mulberry colored beret.
I love it! I almost took a similar photo yesterday myself... now I wish I had!
Are you serious? From my sidebar, it looked like a beautiful piece of granite or marble! Just the thought makes my eyes itch! The pollen isn't quite here yet...when the trees bloom, watch out!
That image is gorgeous! And frightening... that's a lot of pollen!
You are kidding me. My nose is twitching...
Are you serious!!!??? Wow. We've had quite a bit of allergy inducing stuff here too this week and my voice is constantly rather hoarse. We got a GREAT rain yesterday too. I'm so thankful for air that is a bit cleaner and cooler. Kelly
Great photo. Sorry your family has the sneezes. My hubby gets fall sneezes.
Your blog is really nice. I enjoy every time I visit it.
Amazing photo! Happy bicycling, too! Blessings, Janine
