On this day, the first day of swimming lessons, he put up a dramatic, persistent, and loud resistance effort. Today I was the mother with the screaming reluctant swimmer. It wasn't pretty.
Aww. I feel for you. So he really wants to do it on his own terms, doesn't he? I have absolutely nothing helpful to offer here, except "hang in there", and sooner or later he'll be a willing swimmer!

ah yes, swimming lessons - this is what my post is about today too. Ours are indoors though - the water is freezing.
However as they get older they just dive right in.
