I love this photograph. It seems to capture all the excitement and movement of a carnival. Beautiful work, like always.
That is a really fun shot!
I lucked up on a carnival weekend before last and took a ton of pictures. It was early and no one was about. I like your motion shot. Very nice.

How DID you get a shot like this? It's great!
Gina -- This shot required a lot less skill than appearances lead you to believe. It's simply a still shot of the carnival on a cloudy, foggy day. I did some focus editing to the image after I downloaded it because it looked to... still. I wanted to emulate movement despite not capturing any movement at all in the original photo.
the result is great! maybe I'll have to try this focus editing thing sometime!
