Kitchen Art

I think we would agree, the new kitchen is rather monochromatic. And while the professor and I do prefer a base pallet of warm grays some punches of color are absolutely essential.

Bingo! I realized yesterday that our young modernist's award-winning painting is just the ticket.
Ahhh, a splash of color. Much better.

I think we have an extra black Ribba frame in the attic. Even better!

I'm still waiting for the Rooster to find a home on the kitchen wall as well!

Mary -- Oh, you know what... I think the red rooster (and a companion print) are going to end up in the dining room. We did a little furniture rearranging and now we have some good wall space in there for them. Unfortunately there is a light switch in the kitchen right where I would like to hang the cocky bird and that is complicating things.

Your kitchen is the kind of kitchen you would see in magazines. It is just beautiful.

When I first saw your kitchen, I thought about how it was the perfect backdrop for brightly colored little boy art. And it does look beautiful!
