Remembering and Looking Forward

Baby Boo at six months, nine months, and twelve months.

Baby Tukes at birth, four months, and twelve months.

I spent a lot of time this week fondly remembering... thinking back to when my babies were babies.

We took our first peak at Baby this week. Filled with awe and so in love I've also spent time eagerly looking forward to when this little one will not only fill our hearts, but our arms.

New Brotherhood, January 2006

Yes, there will be adjustments and {many} rough days... this I know.

But, with God's grace we'll figure our way into becoming a family of five...

One of my all time favorite family moments captured with the lens, Spring 2006.

And, find those simple, happy moments wrapped up in our days and nights.

These are the special ones who make my life beautiful...

As beautiful as green leaves bathed in the light of the rising sun.

What a blessing this new little one is and how fun to see these glimpses of your special people! Kelly
p.s. I've heard going from two to three is easier than from one to two!

The adjustment to five is easy! I'm sure your boys will be big helpers. Did you find out what you are having?

Besides, a baby, I mean. That's obvious...

We have a family of six...and it works and is wonderful "with God's grace!" For us, his plan was so different than ours, but so much more beautiful than anything I could have dreamed or imagined!
and yes, (I know it's different for everyone), but going from two to three was a much easier adjustment for me than from one to two!
A special post! Thanks for sharing. Happy Saturday!

The professor and your boys are so similar in looks! Adorable--all three! Thanks for sharing the pictures of your boys. It is such fun to see them grow!

Maybe you could have a little girl who looks like her mama! : )

I think the photo of your hand assisting Boo with new Tukes says more than a 1000 words could.

Blessed life : )

Christian, I loved seeing these sweet family photos. Mod child #3 will add something new and wonderful to the Mod family mix. You can be sure of that.

Your pictures reminded me of my life in the earlier days of motherhood.

When my two oldest sons left to college at the same time, I went through a period of grief. I looked at their babies photos and just amazed how they had grown into young men. I recalled their childhood; how my oldest would always waved at the garbage man, the second one would always climbed on his uncle every time he came to visit.

It's another phase of life I am now experiencing.
