Cool picture! What kind of jelly are you making? I'm bringing 15 jars of raspberry/strawberry jam and grape jelly to work tomorrow to hand out. It makes a great gift!

I made jam for Christmas one year. I still think it made the best gifts ever.

Val -- These little four-ounce jars are for honey-cinnamon butter (see the link on my sidebar for the recipe). I plan to tuck them in (thrifted!) baskets along with notecards featuring a few of my favorite nature shots, homemade bread, and jars of jam that I made this summer and set aside for Christmas gifts. Good gifts for teachers, neighbors, the speech therapist, and family friends.

I do have a gallon of figs in my freezer, which may induce me to make fig preserves some time before Christmas... we'll see.
