There was one for each member of our family, including himself.

He supervised {and helped} as I wrapped and ribboned them according to his directions.
Then, he happily placed them under the Christmas tree.
He did all of this with
such creativity...
such delight...
such simplicity...
and such love.
I admire the way he does Christmas.
This advent season I'll try to follow the example set by my three year old.

Oh, that is priceless. My 3 soon to be 4 loves his legos and it has gotten to where I take pictures of his masterpieces. I might have to suggest this idea for him as he wants to get Daddy a gift. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
That melted my heart! How thoughtful, simple, and truly in the spirit of Christmas. A wonderful reminder of how to go about this holiday. :)
Y'all are so neat!
And a child shall lead them.....
What I love is that you were sweet enough to take the time to wrap them nicely for him! Happy Christmas to you all.
The best gifts are homemade from the heart.
Children can be so sweet. It makes you love them even more, if that is possible.
This is the best idea. I will talk to my 3 yr. old about making Lego gifts. Why hadn't we thought of this before in the last 7 years of Lego building?
