8 ounces cream cheese {I use reduced-fat}, softened
1/3 cup {heaping!} confectioners' sugar
Grated peel of 1/2 orange
1 Tablespoon frozen orange juice concentrate
Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix until blended well. Thinly slice a loaf of fresh but cool banana bread {I like miniature loaves}. Use the spread as a sandwich filling between two slices of bread. Chill if not serving immediately. Serve with tea in the company of good friends. Make enough for leftovers which are best enjoyed at breakfast.

Oh. Yum.
What else is there to say??
Your little loaves are so cute! Cute post. I don't know how you always make your food pics turn out so delicious! It's hard to make mine turn out appetizing!
I think this will got wonderful on my toasted bagels in the morning.
Yuuuuuuuuumeeeeeeeeeee! sounds and looks great!
I think if I was pregnant, I would just spread it on top of the unsliced mini loaf and pick it up and take bites. No slicing needed! ha.
Oh. Yummy!
PS LIttle man and I are THE ONLY ONES in the fam who like the oatmeal. So sad. They are missing out on such goodness. sigh.
This sounds so good! And how perfect that I have 3 over-ripe bananas right now :)
That sounds really good!
I'm not sure how it's possible that we have the same camera, and the same sunshine coming into our homes, but your photos look so deliciously serene, crisp, and beautiful to look at. *sigh*
I was just thinking about making some banana bread. I will have to try this spread, sounds delicious!
