I do love my life (most days) but each time I come to your blog, read your wisdom, immerse myself in your photographs, I fight the urge to want to have your life.
My favorite are your Sabbath postings, I feel a sense of completeness after checking that out each week. Thank you for sharing your life and gifts with us. Today I want to grab one of those perfect apples and crunch into it and give that very smooth looking bowl a little touch with my free hand.
merlin -- You are very kind and I so appreciate your compliments. However, please, please know that my life (and my attitudes) are FAR from perfect.
I just cleaned spilled milk off of the floor while scolding the little one who carelessly left his cup in a precarious place. I failed to grocery shop today so tonight we have a choice of cold cereal or boxed macaroni and cheese for dinner. My kitchen floor is sticky, my windows are fingerprinted, my laundry is not finished, and more often than not I succeed at loving myself more than loving God or others.
But, I'm thrilled that you are encouraged each Sabbath, and it touches my heart that in a small way you can enjoy glimpses of beauty that I discover in my little corner of the world.
I love the photo and then I read the comments - Christian, so true about our lives as mothers! I think of my blog as capturing the pretty parts of my days, choosing to dwell on the positive.
Just to say again: that is a beautiful photo. I love your colors!

LOVE the pure whites in your photos!!! I heart that!!! And know how hard it is to achieve. Gorgeous. Simply beautiful!
And...love your response to Merlin. Thanks for the glimpse. :)
Once again, the photo is stunning. Something that I would love framed in my kitchen.
And your response to merlin is just as wonderful.
Oh, this photo reminds me how much I love white and clean lines.
And that pop of red! Glorious.
