Eggs

Big Brother needed an empty egg carton for a project at school. Wouldn't you know, the only egg carton in the house was full of eggs. I hurriedly grabbed a small colander, placed the eggs in it, and sent my school boy on his way.

But, isn't this a pretty and happy sight? I smile at the fresh glimpse of spring every time I open the refrigerator. Yes, indeed, I've just found my new favorite way to store eggs.

I really like the eggs in a colander look! What a great idea, and it makes them easier to get at in the fridge too.

I had a friend who would keep duck and goose eggs on the counter. They were beautiful!

A dozen and a half eggs fell out of the refrigerator the other day (not saying who put them in precariously but it might have been me). I now know what to do with the 6 that didn't break. And I too, might have found a new way to store eggs. Happy thought for a Friday. Thanks for sharing. Every time I open your blog, I think it might be an announcement!

Oh... I have a tote bag made out of the same cloth on your table! It's so cheery and I always get compliments on it out in public. It's fun to see it turn up as a tablecloth!

I keep mine in a little red egg basket I got at the dollar store. It's so true, I love to open the door and see it in there.

You know, I might just have to start a colander full of eggs in my fridge, too.

Oh that is so pretty and I have a colander the same color. It was the first thing I bought for our new home after we got engaged. :) Kelly

waaaaay prettier than my styrofoam cartons! I might take a page from your book and look for a colorful bowl.
And I love the colors in the photo you took -I think I recognize your dishdrainer mat (not sure if that's the actual name).
