A certain school boy was more eager to read about the Titanic than eat his oatmeal.

And freshly baked banana muffins to share with friends who came to play. Some were uniquely and specially packaged to give away {in a jelly jar, of all things}...
And let's not overlook the "double fort" or the little feet that crawled into it.
“Enjoy the little things,
for one day you may look back
and realize they were the big things.”

I love it! I have a certain little one in a fort next to me as I read. :-)
What a fantastic quote.
(ps-I love the peeks into your home. I almost feel like I know it like a friend would.)
I LOVE the fort!!! We have lots of those around here, too. And I love the quote! So well put...and yet it's so easy to forget that in the midst of living out those "little things." Thanks for the reminder!
Oh, I love it. So true. The little things are the big things, indeed!!
love the jelly jar idea. that is what we use for water glasses and milk. if they don't finish the milk we can just screw the cover on and put in the fridge
Forgot to tell you today how much I have enjoyed reading Modobject!
And S said he had a "weawy, weawy fun time" today! :)
I love that quote and the pics too! I remember when we used to make forts like that on the green couch!
oh yeah! Kelly
So true...taking notice of the little things that are really big things. I'm with Anna. I often think about sitting down to a cup of tea with you at your house while the boys play in the other room...
Christian,
I am trying to do that, "pay attention to the little things." The days go by so quickly and I'm so busy trying to keep up while overlooking what really matters.
I too love your photography. The "picture-peek" into your home is so careful that you say so much with just a snapshot, or two. You know when to include the words.
Couch forts! I'd almost forgotten those.
How wonderful that you are enjoying the moment and the little things....I really do believe they are the important ones after all! :)
Blessings,
Camille
