A Valuable Life Lesson

{Uncle Ronnie, this one's for you!}

Allow me to present...

Evidence of an engineering-minded firstborn son who methodically and precisely follows the directions.

Evidence of a free-spirited second born son who enjoys creative embellishment and modification.

Evidence that the two are beginning to understand that a joint effort often yields something much better than either could create on his own!

I bet it is SO fun to watch them play and work together. A lifetime of being buddies...how wonderful. :) I kind of miss those Lego days. Taylor just loved them.

And that is one more reason siblings are such a fantastic thing.

Brilliant Lego work!

how fun! I just love seeing personalities emerging in children (and what better way than through Lego play?).

Okay - the Lego work was good . . . what you said was beautiful. Your perspective continues to challenge and encourage me. THANKS!

That's fantastic!!! Lego creations are the neatest ways to see how your child's mind works! Have you ever been to Legoland? We have not, but I hear about it all the time!

Oh my goodness, I died laughing when I saw this, and my first thought was that it reminded me of something Ronnie would have made. I just love your kids. . . you are a great mom who lets them be just that and appreciates their creativity.

My two boys, now 22 and 25 were lego maniacs. I loved how they would build things, sometimes following those tedious directions, sometimes letting their imaginations run wild! One thing I don't miss...stepping on legos in the middle of the night!
Your photo brought back great memories!
