Oh, The Things She Will Learn

While sitting at the dinner table our Strawberry Girl produced some unladylike sounds after being struck with a brief and mild episode of baby flatulence. She giggled. When the moment passed {pun intended} she, very purposefully, nestled her sweet, pink lips in the crook of her arm and reproduced the unladylike sounds. After which, she grinned at her brothers and giggled again.
Clearly she has two pre-adolescent brothers who are teaching her many things. Undoubtedly, she adores them. You know what they say, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery; but, for heaven's sake, she's only seventeen months old... and such shenanigans at the dinner table?! Oh dear.

oh.my.goodness.....so funny! I can imagine it was hard not to giggle along with her!
That is such a funny story. All girls need big brothers, if only for this.
LOL!!! Oh, I was SO glad when Taylor finally graduated from that phase. I'm telling you, it's lasts through middle school. :)
Thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday today! xo
I think we need to get BabySister and CA together, don't you? They'd paint the town!
That top photo? It.Is.Amazing.
Great post.
Loved the daddy pic day before yesterday too.
Oh my! I am giggling over here!! Kelly
: ))) Sounds like she's not the only one being taught!

Oh my! What a wonderfully rich life! I laughed so hard reading this! And the first picture took my breath away.
That is so funny. I, too, was baffled by how advanced for his years Jamie became in potty humor. And those older brothers seem to just encourage it :)
We too, are a family of massive body-humor. Scratch that, my three children and husband love nothing more than to me entertained by body-humor.
Me? I've learned to cope.
(BTW-That top portrait is so stunning. It actually makes me misty eyed to see it.)
I love the look of determination on that first photo. Too cute. I grew up with all women (my dad died when i was young)...ended up in an all male family. I never got used to the body noises. Such a funny story! (-:
oh.my.word. Get ready, world! You're going to have your hands full, Christian! That first photo is really stunning.
That face looks so familiar...I think I saw it in the B'wood South nursery many moons ago. :-)
You will treasure this moment...and this portrait forever! I love that she has the look of sweet femininity + serious determination. My kind a girl!
her red hair with the dress is so gorgeous. i think royal blue may be her color.
