Grace for the Overwhelmed

It's time for the teacher's appreciation luncheon at school. I'm in charge... and overwhelmed.

But, this is where I find grace...

My mother helps me plan the menu and grocery shop. She even cooks and chops all the chicken for me. I have a quiet Saturday afternoon to make the main dish ahead of time. Friends offer freezer space. Another friend offers to keep Sister the day of the luncheon. And, so many other mothers volunteer to help with the food and the serving.

Yes, this is grace. God tenderly and graciously provides while comforting my overwhelmed heart.

I believe that God blesses those who serve with a willing and happy heart. It might be heard, but it'll be worth it. AND, it makes you appreciate the less stressed days. Just my 2 cents. :)

That's wonderful you were able to see His grace in the middle of your stress! And what a service you provided. As a former teacher, we LOVED feeling appreciated. :)

I feel myself needing this more and more these days. And if I just stop for a moment to rely on Him to supply the grace I need, I am humbly aware of His deliverance.

So glad you felt His gift of grace in your service. And thank you for being honest here, I often feel overwhelmed by my volunteering.

I was blessed by your words today. I've been overwhelmed as well, but I feel courage to find grace in the middle of it. Thank-you!

Ah, yes...same here...

RAIN for us = pollens down, hooray. THAT'S a grace to be sure.

Thanks for the reminder to keep our eyes open to His kindness.
