Christian, what a lovely, lovely post.

I love the heralding of spring brought about by daffodils. Their Italian name, "tromboni" makes me happy to say aloud, to proclaim that spring *is* coming!

My friend Jenni's birthday is today and daffodils always remind me of her as well because she calls them "her birthday flower" since they bloom right now around her birthday.

The street I used to take to get to my old church had scores of daffodils that would shoot up down the middle divider. What a sight!

I am so glad you blog and that we met and share life through "blogland". I don't even remember how I found you exactly except that I think I found the name of your blog or the name "modgirl" intriguing when I saw it on someone's blog comment or blogroll and I came on over. God works in mysterious ways. :)

You have been a mentor to me in blogging and in life. I want my blog to glorify God as well by being grateful for all the wonderful small and large blessings He puts in our lives.

When I started reading the last part of your blog, I thought you were going to say you were going to stop blogging.
